Design
It is much easier to design cost out than attempt to cost reduce an existing design. We will work with you to ensure the cost of making your new part is as low as it can be. And if we do not have the resources to execute we will tell you so you can engage with other suppliers. That’s the value of Partnership.
Rapid Prototyping
Make one or a small quantity of items from a basic sketch or your CAD drawing.
Programming/Engineering
We will create the most efficient CNC programs for making your part, which ensures minimized costs. We can work from your 2D / 3D CAD files.

Mean Machine Inc. is especially proud of our Prototype Machining Cell. The cell was established in 2010 and represents a significant investment of capital and resources to bring you all the benefits of an in house prototyping capability - just when you need it. This allows you to quickly move from design to hard parts so you may verify design, prove concept and/or create a limited run of alpha or beta level products.
The Prototype Cell features 2 Acer 5VK mills with Anilam controls and a dedicated tool and die maker.
We can take your incomplete prototype part designs and create them for you as well as providing an ‘as made’ drawing.
Turn times are typically 10 business days. We offer a pre booking service that allows you access to the Prototype Cell services when you are ready. This allows turn times to be even shorter.

At this time we are in the process of obtaining ISO 9001:2008 Certification. With the assistance of the California Employee Training Panel we have implemented a documented, total training program. Further our Quality Control testing area is climate controlled and uses the latest state of the art specification measuring equipment to assure that our customers parts are right the first time, every time.
